Unread Books 02:21
A pile of unread books beside his unmade bed And big ideas would echo in his unmade head For the man without ideal Must be satisfied to kneel It was a crime he could not feel but he knew better not to reveal To the girls he pursued in the crowded halls Who gathered so excited by the notice-boarded walls So pleased was his reflection He would not entertain direction But his anger lay ‘neath his skin, like clay Where it smouldered and churned All this talk of revolution It’s just talk of revolution But he lacks the evolution So he blames his constitution

Call 02:06
Call This is a call From all the numbers written on your wall You know what you can do if you get strung out Pick any number, pick any number out Fall Don’t bang your head on the wall Look up at the letters written ten feet tall They say ‘You know what you can do if you get hung out, You know what you can do if you get strung out’ You know what you can do if you get strung out, Pick any number, pick any number out.

Do you remember summerlong? with Stevie Smith and Major Tom? Take your pills and put your helmets on Do you recall the second man? Got off the plane a crippled man With a chip inside your damaged head you'd have to turn it off before you went to bed D'you read about the dirty man? Fell for the girl with the sunripe tan It didn't bother him that he was old and grey It didn't stop him trying to have his wicked way Do you remember at the moonlight screening the midnight gleaming in your quiet eyes? If I'm a little bit quick I'll sneak the feeling From yesterday's dim dreamlit lies

Something I stole Blew the whole thing open If I fell The fall got broken Hey, it's OK Join the fray Hey, it's OK Join the fray I threw up the words And the world came after Then you said the word And the word was laughter Hey, it's OK Join the fray

Lazy 03:47
Crazy I think I’m going crazy The phone in minor tones says I’m alone no yes no, no maybes Hazy Sunsets drive me crazy my bones are feeling stoned and I’m alone without my baby I turn over and over in my bed But I can’t get these alcohol stains out of my head The brain is in the station but the engines are dead and I feel so lazy Crazy Sunday after crazy Days that last for days of full ashtrays Without my baby Maybe, maybe Today could be the day Maybe/Baby I turn over and over in my bed But I can’t get these alcohol stains out of my head The brain is in the station but the engines are dead and I feel so lazy So lazy

He was so disinfected and then the girl connected such a shining surface she's going to serve his purpose when she left the dishes she went against his dishes yeah, she felt his thunder and she was slipping under such a shining surface seen in their local places displays of jokes and graces he has his different faces he doesn't leave no traces and she was scared and silent she became compliant to respect his wishes she never left the dishes such a shining surface
